Sassafras Details
**Large Stick Blanks**
- Sticks should be from straight, live standing trees showing no internal rot. Limbs removed flush
- Stick size is measured from the large butt end and should be between approx. 1.5"- 3.5" inches across
- Sticks should be delivered in 35 inch lengths.
- Species accepted Sassafras only
**Walking Stick Blanks**
- Sticks should be from straight, live standing trees showing no disease or internal rot. Limbs removed flush
- Stick Size is measured from the largest butt end and should be between 1 3/8" -1" across.
- Length should be between 90"-99" long
- All Species accepted...Sassafras....Hickory...Dogwood mainly. As long as the stick is straight and has the required dimensions.
Sassafras Current Pricing
- $1 per Large Stick Blank 35" inch long
- $1 per Walking Stick Blank over 90" long
***Note*** Sticks not meeting requirements may be accepted at a reduced rate or rejected
Stick Delivery
- Stick unloading is accepted by appointment.
- Must call office for appointment during Business Hours 7am-3.30 PM M-F (1-800-581-0227)
- Payment after inspection and unloading is complete.
